In the 2009 Subaru Impreza, the trunk and cargo space range from 11.3 to 19 cubic feet, expanding to 44.4 cubic feet when the seats are folded down. By lifting a small panel in the vehicle's floor, you reveal a compartment where the seats can be stowed. To fold the seats down, simply pull the lever on the side of the seats, allowing you to push them into the compartment and secure them with a click. Reversing this process to raise the seats back up should only take a minute or two.
