To take out the armrest in the middle console of a 2006 Ford Focus, you'll need a 7mm and 8mm socket, as well as a screwdriver. The screws anchoring the armrest can be found at the rear of the center console. There are two screws that you can take out to release the armrest, then you can open it up and remove some bolts. After that, use a screwdriver to help detach the armrest, ensuring you disconnect any wiring or other parts that need to be removed. You can expect to pay between $75 and $100 for a new armrest or $25 to $75 for a used one, which you can purchase from an online retailer or an auto salvage yard.
