Swapping out the battery on a 2013 Ford Escape is a pretty simple job. You'll need some basic tools like socket sets, gloves, and safety glasses. Pop open the hood and secure it with the prop. Find the battery near the firewall on the driver's side. Take off the cover and the bracket holding the battery in place, and then disconnect the cables. It's a good idea to give the cables a clean with water, baking soda, and a wire brush before hooking them back up. Take out the old battery and slot in the new one. Reconnect the cables, put the cover on, and start the car to check everything is running smoothly. Make sure to pick up a group size 96R battery that can deliver 590 cold cranking amps.
To change the battery in a 2013 Ford Escape, start by removing the clamps. Next, disconnect and tidy up the cables. Remove the old battery and swap in the new one. Attach the cables to the new battery and secure the clamps back on.
