Your 2014 Toyota RAV4's key fob operates on a CR2016 battery, which you can easily find on various online stores. As the battery loses power, you may notice the need to use the remote closer to your vehicle. To replace the battery, all you need is the new battery and a small flat head screwdriver. Start by separating the two halves of the fob near the key ring slot. Once you have the fob in two pieces, detach the inner enclosure and split it into two parts as well. Simply slide out the old battery and insert the new one. Reassemble by following the reverse steps.
