If the brake caliper on your 2011 Ford Fusion is worn out, it will need to be replaced, which is a somewhat complex task. To start, you must take off the wheel and disconnect the brake line from the caliper you're replacing, allowing the fluid to drain from the lines. Then, you should remove the set screw and detach it from the wheel hub assembly and rotor. Following that, you will install a new caliper and new pads by sliding it over the rotor and screwing it in place just like the original one. Once it is secured, refill the brake lines and bleed them at the caliper to remove any remaining air from the lines.
