To replace the fuel filter on a 2010 Ford Ranger, first find the fuel filter under the frame rail near the fuel tank on the right side of the vehicle. Clean the lines and fittings to remove any dirt from the ends of the fuel filter and then unclip the fuel line fittings. Disconnect the fuel lines from both ends of the filter and remove the filter from the mounting bracket. Mount the new filter on the bracket, ensuring the arrow on the filter points towards the engine. Attach the bracket to the frame rail and reconnect the fuel lines, securing the clips on the line fittings. Lower the vehicle, tighten the fuel cap, and reconnect the negative battery cable.
