To install a new radiator support on your 2002 Ford F-150, you will need to do some welding. If you're not comfortable with welding, it's best to bring your truck to a repair shop to avoid any complications. First, you'll need to get the new support, which you can find for around $100 (like Carpart's part number 9840). Remove the old support by unbolting it from the front mount and cutting a few inches into the fender walls. Align the new support, bolt it in place, and then weld the metal parts together.
