To swap out the windshield washer hose in a 2008 Ford Focus, locate the washer tube in the engine compartment connecting the pump to the nozzles. Remove the tube from the pump by pulling it straight off. Take out the hood insulator retainers near the nozzles with a flathead screwdriver, then push the insulator section back. Remove the tube from the nozzle by pulling it straight off. Extract the washer tube from the retainer clips, using a screwdriver if necessary. Remove the tube from the car. Install the new tube in the same spot as the old one. Connect the tube to the nozzle by pushing it on carefully. Insert the tube into the retaining clip. Reattach the hood insulator, securing it by pushing the retainers back in place. Gently push the tube back onto the pump.
Locate the hose near the windshield beneath the wiper blades. Remove the old hose by unscrewing it, then attach the new one. It's as simple as that.
