Resetting the check engine light on your 2007 Mercedes C230 is a simple process that should only take about 6 to 9 minutes of your time. To begin, go to the front of your car and use the prop arm on the left side of the engine bay to keep the hood open. Locate the battery at the front of the compartment, to the right of the engine. Disconnect and then reconnect the positive and negative terminals. After starting the engine, you should see that the light has been successfully reset.
