When the low tire pressure light illuminates in your Ford F-250, start by examining each tire to ensure they are clear of any objects that could cause a puncture, such as nails or screws. Next, inflate the tires to the recommended pressure indicated on the driver's door decal. Once all tires are properly filled, reset the TPMS light by pressing and holding the reset button on the dashboard until the light flashes three times. After completing this step, you should be able to drive off with the light turned off.

Turn the key to the on position and start the engine. Toggle the hazard lights on and off three times to activate the flat tire warning indicator. Begin driving at a slow speed so the computer registers that everything is fine and resets the flat tire warning. Keep the engine running during the procedure and while driving.

When tires are at the correct pressure, go to the tire pressure section on the dashboard and press down on the "check" icon for five seconds.

Inflate the tires, and if they still seem low on pressure, it's possible that the TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) is faulty and needs to be replaced.
