Resetting the maintenance reminder on the 2016 Toyota Highlander can be easily accomplished in just 6 to 9 minutes of your time. To begin, go to the driver's side of your vehicle and enter. Locate the engine start/stop button, which serves as the ignition, and press it once. Next, press the trip meter reset button, and then the engine start/stop button again. It's important not to start the engine during this process. Turn off the ignition completely, then start the engine. You will notice that the maintenance indicator light has been reset and is no longer displayed.
