Before beginning the process of resetting the mykey on your 2011 Ford Escape, ensure that you have the admin/main key handy. This key is necessary to start the vehicle and access the navigation screen. To reset the mykey, navigate to the section labeled "reset mykey" on your monitor by pressing the setup button. Hold down the reset button for a few seconds until it flashes. Your mykey will then be reset for your vehicle.
I don't have a screen on my dashboard for my computer.

It's frustrating when you have to use a spare key to follow the instructions given the second time that key will also have the child lock activated on it. So, you will need to visit a dealer or someone who can reset the keys for you.
In 2011, my getaway vehicle is devoid of any visual display.
Do not use the screen unless you are referring to the radio display.
To clear the mykey settings, first use the administrator key to start the vehicle. Navigate through the screen menu by pressing setup until you see the option to "press reset to clear mykey". Next, hold down the reset button for two seconds until the message "all mykeys cleared" appears on the screen.
