If you've recently topped off the oil in your 2018 Chevy Equinox and need to reset the oil life indicator, follow these easy steps. Begin by inserting the key into the ignition and turning it to the ON position without starting the engine. Navigate to the infotainment screen and locate the vehicle information menu. Access it and scroll through the menus until you find the oil life section. Select the oil life area and press and hold the set/clear button until it resets to zero. Once it resets, you're all set to hit the road again.
