To keep track of when your 2018 Nissan Kicks needs its next oil change, make sure to reset the oil change light every time you get an oil change. Otherwise, your vehicle may incorrectly signal that another oil change is needed sooner than necessary. Here's how you can reset the light: With the ignition in the "On" position but the engine off, navigate to "Settings" using the buttons on your steering wheel. Then, go to "Maintenance" and select "Oil And Filter." Adjust the time and distance for the next maintenance cycle and reset the oil change light. After completing these steps, you can switch off the ignition.
To begin, switch on the ignition without starting the engine. Utilize the navigation buttons on the steering wheel to navigate to the settings in the multi-information display. Scroll until you locate the maintenance section. Within this menu, choose the option for oil and filters. From there, you can reset the indicator light or adjust the distance setting before it reactivates.
Turn the ignition key to the on position. Use the left or right buttons on the left side of the steering wheel to access the settings menu and then press ok to confirm. Use the up or down buttons to navigate the settings menu, choose maintenance, and confirm with ok.
