After completing the oil change in your 2019 Honda Odyssey, you'll probably want to reset the oil life monitor. This convenient feature helps you keep track of when your next oil change is due, giving you a progress report on how close or far you are from that time. There are two methods to reset the indicator. The first option is to use a scan tool that has the oil life reset function, although not all OBD-II tools have this feature. The easier method involves navigating through your dashboard display to find "Oil Life," and then pressing and holding the SELECT/RESET button until the oil life indicator resets itself.

According to the correct solution, the process in the 2019 Honda Odyssey is to start by pressing the Home button located on the left side of the steering wheel. Then, navigate down by using the down arrow beneath the Enter key until you reach the Maintenance option. Highlight the Maintenance key and press the Enter key on the steering wheel. Scroll down again to locate the Oil Life option. Press the Enter key. When you see B17 on the screen, press and hold the Enter key for 10 seconds. Proceed by moving down to "All Due Items" using the arrow keys and press Enter again. Your car's display should now show "Reset Complete" and "Oil Life: 100%".
