To reset the oil maintenance light on a 2012 Toyota Prius as an American, you'll need to start by opening the driver's side door. Next, turn the key in the ignition to the ON position. Choose Trip A or B on the odometer display. Remove the key from the ignition and press and hold the odometer button while pressing the power button, and keep holding the odometer button until you see dashes on the display. Release the button, and you have successfully reset the oil maintenance light on your Toyota Prius.
