The eco mode feature in the 2018 Kia Forte helps reduce emissions by adjusting how the car operates. You can easily see if it's activated by looking for the word ECO illuminated near the speedometer on the console. To deactivate eco mode, hold down the trip/odo button to the left of the speedometer for one second. It's recommended to use eco mode for regular driving, but remember to switch it off when driving in challenging conditions for more power as needed.
