To disable the VSC TRAC warning light on a 2004 RAV4, you can press and hold the TRAC button while the vehicle is stationary. The TRAC off light will illuminate, indicating that the system is deactivated. Pressing the TRAC button again will reactivate it. However, if you continue to experience repeated warning lights, there may be an issue with the variable speed sensor responsible for detecting faulty ground connections. In such cases, it is essential to have your vehicle inspected as driving under these conditions could pose a safety risk.
Where can I find the VSC Button on my Toyota RAV4? I've searched everywhere but can't seem to locate it. Additionally, can you describe what it looks like?
There is not a one available for the 2004 model.
For the 2004 Rav4, you can find the TRAC OFF button located near the side window controls on the left side of the steering wheel. This button can also be used to control the VSC TRAC light.
There is no separate VSC button, as you control it by using the "TRAC OFF" button located near the hazard button, under the controls for adjusting the outside side mirrors. (On the left side of the steering wheel.)
