The headlights are originally made of plastic and coated with clear material at the factory, which can degrade over time. To address this issue, you'll first need to use a fine-grit wet sandpaper to strip off the old clear coat from the headlights. Then, apply a polish to remove any scratches caused by the sandpaper. Once the headlights are polished and restored, be sure to reapply a fresh coat of clear finish to protect the plastic from oxidation. Ignoring this step will lead to the headlights deteriorating again.
