To maintain the 2019 Ford Edge ST, it is recommended to change the oil every 5,000 to 10,000 miles. Ignoring this important maintenance task can lead to engine issues. Using high-quality oil is crucial for optimal engine performance. Not changing the oil can result in issues such as a strong burning odor, which should be addressed promptly to prevent potential engine damage. Poor-quality oil can cause the engine to fail, resulting in decreased gas mileage and potentially hearing strange knocking noises from the engine.
