To reset the alarm on a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse in the United States, first, open the driver's side door. Next, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position. Then, locate the alarm box underneath the dashboard and press the override button on it. Keep holding the button until you hear the alarm beep. If you wish to activate the alarm again, simply turn the key to the ON position and press the override button once. That's the process to follow.
