To reset the fuel pump in your 2012 Dodge Charger, you have two options. The first and simpler one is to unplug the battery for 20 to 40 minutes. This will not only reset the fuel pump but also restore the vehicle to its factory settings, so keep that in mind. The second option is a bit more difficult, as it only resets the fuel pump. You will need to remove a part of the dashboard on the driver's side to access the inertial switch. Pressing and holding this switch for a few moments will reset the pump.
