If the radio in your 2011 Ford Fusion isn't functioning correctly, the first step you should take is to reset it. Resetting the radio is a simple process. Just hold down the volume knob on the dashboard until the radio shuts off, then turns back on. This usually resolves minor issues with the radio. If the problem persists, you'll need to inspect the fuses and remove, then reinsert the fuse that connects to the radio. The fuse panel is located to the left of the brake pedal in the driver's footwell.
How to restart the radio
Find the fuse box near the brake pedal on the left side, and take off the cover to access the radio fuse. Check if the fuse is blown, replace it if necessary, and then start your car to test the radio.
