To reset the rear window on a Toyota Sequoia, start by pressing and holding the window down button, then press the window up button while still holding the down button. Keep holding the down button until the window fully closes. This process should reset both the rear window and the motor in the Toyota Sequoia. If this method is unsuccessful, refer to your owner's manual for a detailed guide. If issues persist, there may be more severe problems with your vehicle, and it may require a comprehensive diagnostic check of the car's digital and electronic systems. It's recommended to have this done at an auto shop or dealership.

To reset the rear window on your Toyota Sequoia, first lower the window completely, keep holding it until it starts going back up, and that's how you reset the motor.

For the 1st generation Toyota Sequoia (2001-2006), if the rear hatch window lift isn't working, a good starting point is to remove the door panel to access the window motor and regulator. Look for two bolts with 10mm heads positioned very closely together in a vertical line - these are adjustments for the regulator. Loosen both bolts a couple of turns (but don't remove them), then with the ignition key turned on, try operating the rear window button. The glass should start to move. Once it does, tighten the bolts back up and reattach the door panel. If the rear glass has been stuck due to lack of use, this method has proven effective on numerous Sequoias. The idea of "resetting" the rear window may be more relevant to later Sequoia models, but given the absence of a specific year in the question, I've provided a solution based on the model years I am familiar with.
