To reset the tire pressure monitoring system on a 2015 Toyota RAV4, follow these steps. First, ensure the vehicle is parked and turned off or locked. Check and adjust the tire pressure to 33 psi for both front and rear tires with 225/65R17, and 32 psi for both front and rear tires with 235/55R18. It's best to do this when the vehicle is cold or has been off for some time. After verifying the tire pressure, switch the ignition to on. Locate the tire pressure reset switch, which can be found below the steering wheel, on the dash, instrument panel, knee bolster, or in the glove box depending on the RAV4 version. Hold down the reset switch until the tire pressure light flashes 3 times. Wait a few minutes, then turn the ignition off. Finally, turn the car back on to confirm that the reset was successful.
To recalibrate the tire pressure sensor on your 2015 Toyota RAV4, first park the car and turn off the engine. Then, make sure each tire is at the proper psi level. After that, turn the engine back on, press and hold the tire pressure reset button until the indicator light flashes slowly three times.
