To start, ensure the ignition is off, then turn the key to the ON position in your car. Press and hold the reset button for the tire pressure monitoring system until the tire pressure light blinks at least three times, then release the button. Start the vehicle and let the engine run for 20 minutes to reset the tire pressure monitoring sensor to its default settings. The TPMS light is a useful indicator that alerts you to low tire pressure in case of an emergency.
To recalibrate the TPMS system in a Dodge Caravan, start by ensuring the tire pressure is at the proper level. Next, start the car and press the reset button located on the right side of the steering wheel. Wait for about ten minutes for the system to reset. If needed, you might have to hold down the reset button until the indicator light flashes.
