To perform a soft reset on the touch screen of your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, simply press and hold the enter and volume buttons simultaneously for 15 to 25 seconds. When the screen flashes, release the buttons, and it should reboot and function normally. If this doesn't resolve the issue, you can also try disconnecting the vehicle's battery for 15 minutes. This will restore the system to its original settings and fix any frozen screen problems you may have encountered.
To fully restart the touch screen on your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, press and hold the browse/enter and volume buttons together for 20 seconds.

My display was dark, but surprisingly the rearview camera still functioned. It went blank right after I shifted out of reverse. Restarting the system didn't help, but disconnecting the battery did the trick. Appreciate it!
