To recalibrate the TPMS on your 2013 Lexus GS350, check out this video tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KrnkjcTBOyU Eventually, you'll need to replace this component. It's recommended to change your tires every 30,000 to 50,000 miles to reduce the risk of accidents. Maintaining top-notch tire condition is crucial for avoiding collisions. This specific part may pose issues sooner or later, such as feathering or cupping problems, leading to premature tire wear. The component could also become loose over time. Remember to inspect tire pressure monthly and check for any punctures from running over sharp objects.
To reinitialize the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) in a 2013 Lexus GS 350, first switch the ignition to the on position. Next, find the reset button on the panel next to the steering wheel. Press and hold the reset button until the TPMS light on the dash flashes 3 times. Allow the system to complete the reset process by either letting the car idle or driving it for 20 minutes.
I own a 2013 GS450H, which is pretty much the same as the GS350. There's no reset button on the dashboard for the TPMS. To reset it, you'll have to use a scan tool, either from an aftermarket supplier or a dealer.
