In order to update the navigation system in your 2008 Toyota Avalon, you will need a computer. Insert the SD card from your vehicle into your computer and open the Map Update Toolbox application. If there is an available update, a button will appear prompting you to download the latest content. Click on "Download Latest Content" to start the update process. Once the update is complete, the toolbox will confirm that the SD card is up-to-date. Click on "Exit Toolbox," safely eject the SD card from your computer, and reinsert it back into your vehicle.
