To activate the Sirius radio in your 2011 Ford F-150, the initial step is to locate the radio's code. Each satellite radio comes with a unique serial number that enables you to activate it through your Sirius account and link it to the satellite network. To find the radio ID, press the menu button, access the Sirius menu, navigate to advanced settings, and view the ID on the screen. Afterwards, you can use this number to register your car with your account on the Sirius website, which will unlock all the functionalities of the satellite radio system.
Back in 2011, you couldn't get a Sirius XM radio – it was either Sirius or XM. The merge didn't happen until a couple years later. Ford trucks back in 2011 were equipped with Sirius radios. To locate the Radio ID, press both the "Sirius" button and "1" at the same time. Your Radio ID will then show up on the screen.
To locate your Sirius radio ID as an American, press the "menu" button, select the Sirius menu, and navigate to "advanced settings" to access your radio ID.
Select the Sirius button to activate it, then press and hold both the Sirius button and the #1 button at the same time to display your radio ID on a 2011 Ford F-150.
