Look under the dashboard for a black release lever with an image of a hood raised on it. Pull this lever towards you to unlatch the hood. Then go to the front of the vehicle and locate a black latch lever under the center of the hood. Press on it to lift the hood. You can prop open the engine bay cover with the included strut once it's open. Remember, older vehicles may require lubrication of the latch for a smooth opening process.
