To reset the tire pressure monitoring sensor on the 2005 Toyota 4Runner, follow these simple steps that will only require 5 to 12 minutes of your time. Start by making sure your tire pressure is set to the recommended range of 32 to 35 pounds per square inch. Then, sit in your vehicle, start the engine, and locate the reset button on the dashboard. The reset button is conveniently positioned on the lower right side of the steering wheel and instrument cluster. Hold down the button until the tpms light flashes three times in a row, signaling that the sensor has been successfully reset.
To recalibrate the tire pressure sensor on a 2005 Toyota 4Runner, hold down the reset button on the dashboard until the TPMS light blinks and then turns off.
