To reset the air suspension on a 2007 Buick Lucerne, start by ensuring the switch is turned on located under the passenger side dashboard. Then, check the relay's condition, located as a small black box under the right front bumper with two switches/sensors; one is behind the left front tire and the other is behind the spare tire. Removing the spare tire will provide ample space to work with. The sensors resemble miniature shock absorbers with black rubber and can be easily compressed and pulled manually. Moving these will mimic the suspension's movement, activating the compressor. If the compressor doesn't engage (and all previous steps were successful), it indicates a faulty compressor that needs replacement.
I would like to understand the process for resetting the air suspension system. I am aware that it should activate when the vehicle is turned on.
To recalibrate the air suspension system on your 2007 Buick Lucerne, you should utilize an OBD II diagnostic scan tool to reset the electronic control unit (ECU) responsible for managing it.
