Resetting the air suspension on a Ford Expedition is a straightforward task that should only take you about 5 to 10 minutes. To begin, ensure that the air suspension switch under the passenger side dashboard is set to the on position. Then, locate the fuse box behind the driver's side of the front bumper and inspect the relay to ensure it is functioning properly. If everything appears to be in order, examine the sensors located behind the spare tire on your vehicle. You can try manually adjusting these sensors to trigger the compressor to kick in. If the compressor does not activate, it is likely that it has malfunctioned and will need to be replaced.
Start the car and shut the doors. Go to the settings menu on the dashboard display. Select the air suspension option, then hit the reset button to toggle it on or off.
Which years is this compatible with? I own a 2005 model and it doesn't come with these features.
I drive a 2001 Ford Expedition and recently got the airbag replaced. But now, instead of inflating properly, they just expand outward to the side.
I own a 2005 model, but my message board doesn't feature an air suspension reset control.
Your reply does not address the question. It seems like you might have missed the question because your answer doesn't provide any information on how to reset it, you fool.
I own a 1998 Expedition and the air suspension won't go down. I'm not sure what steps to take next.
I own a 2004 Expedition Eddie Bauer edition, and I am gradually fixing each system one by one. I purchased this truck/SUV at an auction about three weeks ago, and it had not been started since 2018. As a result, I had to deal with four flat tires, a dead battery, windows left open at odd angles, missing master window controls, broken door handles, and more. Despite all of these issues, it is a pretty decent truck and proving to be very reliable. I am now focusing on replacing the PCV valve and air suspension relay, and once I've done that, all the problems with the truck should be resolved (fingers crossed). I just need to know where the tank relay is located so I can replace it.
