During testing, the coolant is examined for nitrate presence, glycol percentage, reserve coolant alkalinity, and potential corrosion. The coolant capacity for 2011-2016 models is around 29.4 to 30.3 quarts, with the recommended fluid being Genuine Ford Fluid, which is orange and pre-diluted. It's advised to flush the coolant system initially at 105,000 miles or after 6 years, and then every 45,000 miles/3 years thereafter.
