If the security system in your Lincoln Navigator malfunctions, the initial step is to attempt a reset. This process is straightforward, requiring the use of the key fob. Begin by unlocking the door manually with the key, then pressing the unlock button on the fob within 20 seconds. Following this, start the ignition within another 20 seconds. If your alarm system continues to experience issues, it is advisable to seek assistance from a Lincoln service center for inspection and potential system reset.
Same thing happened again, for the second time this year. Had to cover the cost of a tow truck previously. The best solution is to avoid purchasing another Lincoln in the future.
