To reset the anti-theft system in a 2010 Dodge Nitro, start by opening the driver's door and locating the fuse box on the side panel. Once you remove the panel cover, you'll see a yellow clip on the front edge. Pinch the tabs on the clip to pull it out slightly. Insert your key into the ignition and turn it to the on position without starting the engine. Wait for about 10 seconds in this position. Then, turn the ignition off by turning the key counterclockwise, and push the fuse back into the box. The security light should turn off, allowing you to start the vehicle.
