To reset the anti-theft feature on a 2014 Ford Mustang, start by turning the ignition key to the ON position and keeping it that way for 10 minutes. Once the time is up, the system will reset, and the blinking anti-theft warning light should stop. If this doesn't do the trick, you can also attempt disconnecting the negative battery cable. Wait a couple of minutes before reattaching it and then try starting the car again.
My 2014 Ford Mustang GT 5.0's anti-theft system is rapidly flashing, indicating it is in lock mode and won't start! How do I disengage it? Thank you.
To reprogram the anti-theft system in your 2014 Ford Mustang, press the panic button on your key fob for five seconds, then press the lock button twice while standing 10 feet away from the car. Next, press the unlock button twice to complete the reset process for your security system.
Neither of those choices proved to be effective.
