To reset the oil light on your 2013 Ford F-150, go to the settings menu and select "Vehicle". Look for the option "Oil Life Reset" and press and hold the OK button to initiate the reset. It is recommended to change the oil and oil filter every 10,000 miles or once a year. For more demanding driving conditions, consider replacing them every 3,000 to 7,500 miles. Use SAE 5W-30 full synthetic oil with a capacity of 6.0 quarts including the filter. The oil filter spin-on canister has a thread size of M22 X1.50 and requires a 15mm wrench for replacement. Ensure to remove the gasket from the old filter before installing the new one.
