If the low tire pressure light is illuminated on your 2012 Ford Focus, the first step is to visually check the tires for damage and ensure they are properly inflated. Be sure to inflate them according to the specifications indicated on the sticker inside the driver's door frame. After all the tires are inflated, start your car and hold down the TPMS reset button on the dashboard until the light flashes three times. Following this, drive the car for 5 to 10 minutes so that it can adjust to the new tire pressures, keeping the light off until any further pressure drops occur.
To turn off the low tire pressure light on a 2012 Ford Focus, you need to turn the key to the run position three times, step on the brake pedal, turn the key off, repeat the process, and finish with the key in the run position.
Can you simplify it for me? My other car has a button with a low tire symbol on it. You just press and hold the button for 3 seconds to reset it.
