The maintenance reminder in the 2013 Volvo XC60 indicates when service is due. At the dealership, they reset the reminder for you. If you choose to do it yourself, here's how: Insert the key, press the engine start button once without stepping on the brake. Next, press and hold the trip reset and ok buttons on the left side of the steering wheel while pressing the engine start button again. Keep holding the buttons for 10 seconds until the information lamp flashes. Then, turn off the ignition by pressing the engine start button one more time. Wait for at least 3 minutes before restarting the car.
Follow these steps to reset the maintenance light on a 2013 Volvo XC60:
1. Insert the ignition key into position I (by pressing the engine start button once, without starting the engine).
2. Press and hold down the reset button on the right side of the odometer.
3. Press and hold the "yes" button on the left side of the steering wheel.
4. Turn the ignition switch to position II (press the engine start button again before the lights come on in the cluster).
5. Keep holding both the reset button and the "yes" button for 10 seconds.
6. Release the reset button when the information light starts flashing.
7. Turn off the ignition and wait for 5 minutes before starting the car again.
