In a 2008 Nissan Rogue, a small wrench symbol on the driver's information display indicates that an oil change is needed. To reset the oil life reminder, you can follow these steps: Start by turning the ignition to the "on" position without starting the engine. Look for a black knob on the right side of the dashboard below the odometer. Press and hold the knob until you reach the "settings" menu on the display. Navigate through the menus by pressing the knob until you find the "maintenance" option. Select "maintenance" and then go to "service". Choose "reset" and then the "back" button. This process will recalibrate the oil life indicator. When you restart the engine, the wrench reminder should no longer be visible on the display.
