To reset the oil level indicator in your 2011 Acura MDX, follow these steps: First, turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position. Next, press the SEL/RESET button repeatedly until the engine oil life indicator appears. Hold the SEL/RESET button for over 10 seconds to enter the oil life reset mode on the display screen. Use the UP or DOWN button to navigate to the RESET indicator, then press SEL/RESET. This action will remove the maintenance item code(s) and set the engine oil life back to 100%. To opt out of the oil life reset mode, simply choose CANCEL.
