To reset the oil light on a 2015 Subaru Outback, start by turning the key in the ignition to ON. Next, pull the i/SET switch towards you and hold it until the selection screen pops up. Navigate to the Maintenance option using the up and down arrows, then press the i/SET switch again. Choose the Engine Oil option using the arrows and confirm by pressing the i/SET switch once more. Adjust the mileage interval and service date with the up and down arrows. After that, turn off the ignition and start the engine to confirm the reset. If you have a Touring trim with multimedia navigation, press the Car Info button in the lower left of the main menu. Go to Maintenance, delete any completed events listed, and add a new event for the next maintenance reminder. Finish by saving the changes.
