To reset the "change oil" light on a 2016 Subaru Impreza, use the steering wheel controls. First, find the ISet button located on the left-hand side of the steering wheel. Pull it towards you until you see the message about moving the selection screen. Navigate to the "maintenance" option and choose "engine oil". Move the lever towards you and use the arrows to input a new date for the oil service. Then highlight "set". After recording the new date, pull out the ISet button again to save the information. Enter the distance using the arrows to specify the miles between service appointments. This distance setting can be found under "Notification Distance". Once all adjustments are made, exit the menu and follow the on-screen instructions on your dashboard to confirm and save the new settings.
