To reset the oil service light on the Porsche 911 Carrera, follow these steps. It's a quick process, only taking about 4 to 9 minutes. Begin by heading to the driver's side of your car and entering. Locate the odometer button on the center dashboard. Turn the ignition key to the on position without starting the engine. Press and hold down the odometer button. The oil service light will light up and start flashing. Press the button quickly one more time to fully reset the system.
