To reset the oil light on your 2018 Mercedes CLA 250, start by turning the ignition key to position 1. Then, navigate to the Vehicle Trip Mileage on the multi-function display. Hold the call button on your steering wheel and simultaneously press the OK button. Keep both buttons held down to access the Vehicle Data menu. Scroll to the Assyst Plus menu, choose Full Service, and confirm the service. Finally, select the Oil Grade and confirm the changes.
It didn't work for me either. I simply received a notification asking if I'd like to reset the mileage.
I'm facing the same issue. The asyst plus doesn't have a menu; it simply displays that B1 is overdue. I've never owned a car as problematic as this one. I won't be buying another Mercedes in the future.
To turn off the oil light in a 2018 Mercedes CLA 250, you should switch the car to position 1, navigate to the vehicle trip mileage screen, hold down the accept call button, press OK, access the assyst plus menu, choose the full service option, confirm the service, specify the oil grade, and finally press OK.
As one response mentions, it's important to call before pressing the "OK" button. This should be done in Position 1, and speed is crucial! If you're prompted to reset the trip mileage, make sure to do it quickly to avoid any delays.
Ensure that you press and hold the accept call button before pressing and holding the ok button simultaneously. I received the clear mileage notification after pressing the ok button initially.
That isn't effective!
Quickly, you must move swiftly.
I finally got it to appear after 20 minutes of trying, but when I clicked confirm to reset, it showed an error saying "cannot reset full service." This is absolutely ridiculous.
Having difficulties getting it to appear quickly enough, it's not popping up fast enough.
