When you get your 2013 Hyundai Accent's oil changed, typically the dealership or mechanic will reset the service interval light for you. Should they forget to do so or if you're changing the oil on your own, it's a simple task to reset the light in your car yourself. To do this, start the car with the engine running. Hold down the OK button on the steering wheel for five seconds, then let go. Press and hold the OK button for one more second before releasing it again. The light should then turn off, and it will reset and light up again when it's time for the next change.
To reset the oil life on a 2013 Hyundai Accent, you'll need an OBD II scan tool to adjust the oil life indicator to 100%.
