If you've never had to reset the sunroof on a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee before, you may find the process unfamiliar. Surprisingly, sunroofs can be reset if a light is illuminated due to loose or worn wires, or a blown fuse. Once any necessary repairs are done, you can perform the reset yourself. To do so, press and hold the switch to open the sunroof, then keep pushing it down while it's fully open. After a few seconds, the roof will start to close automatically. Let go of the switch at this point. The sunroof has now been successfully reset, and the light on your dashboard should no longer be visible.
To restart the sunroof in a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, press and hold the button to open the sunroof, and keep it held down until the sunroof starts closing.
