Before placing the tire pressure sensor on your 2016 Toyota RAV4, you should first manually check each tire to ensure it has the correct pressure. Using an incorrect pressure could result in an accident. Once you have confirmed that the tire pressures are correct, proceed to enter the vehicle from the driver's side. Insert the key into the ignition or press the engine start stop button twice. Look for a tire pressure light on the steering wheel or dashboard. Press and hold this light until it blinks three times, then turn off the vehicle. You should now be able to restart the vehicle with the tire pressure light turned off.

To reset the tire pressure monitor (TPMS) on your 2016 Toyota RAV4, first switch the ignition key to the "on" position and press the TPMS button, usually found under the dashboard, until the TPMS light flashes a few times. Next, start your car and leave it running for at least 20 minutes - this should reset your TPMS system.
